Clive Barker The Great and Secret Show is Masterfully Written

Clive Barker The Great and Secret Show is a horror novel of a different kind. If you like mystery books and fantasies you will like this interesting read. The thing that makes Barker a good writer is his imagination. Not anyone else is able to conjure up a fantasy to such a line and length as him. Readers are able to drift into another world and the book serves as a great diversion for those who want to read engaging books to ward off boredom.

Barker, an English writer is also a film director and visual artist. He became famous in the mid-1980s as a horror writer with his Books of Blood. Since 2015, he is serving as a member of the board of advisers for the Hollywood Horror Museum. His fiction has been adapted into movies such as the Hellraiser and Candyman series.

Clive Barker The Great and Secret Show is a pure fantasy. It is based on the battle between good and evil. There are two main characters Jaffe and Fletcher. Jaffe is the evil guy who is not trusted while Fletcher who is a scientist is well educated and thus, a good guy. Jaffe somehow discovers the Art while at work at the Post Office. In the story plot, he lives in Omaha, Nebraska and finds a similarity in dead letters that he thinks has something to do with the Art. He goes out hunting for those who know the Art.  Jaffe moves to Baja, California and meets with Fletcher who has the solution but refuses to give it to him. Jaffe wants to use magic to get to the Quiddity Sea. Both Jaffe and Fletcher fight for several years.
